Suffolk Storage LLC, (www.Suffolk-Storage.com) a newly added operation in Bohemia, NY that is family owned and will become part of the Town of Islip great business partners for years to come.
Gerard Scollan, born and raised in Bohemia, founded Lovin’ Oven (https://lovinoven.com) Catering in 1984 with the purchase of a small commissary in Huntington. In the almost forty years since the company’s inception, Gerard has grown Lovin’ Oven considerably, as the company owns and operates Land’s End Catering (https://www.landsendweddings.com/) and Audrey’s Fine Baked Goods in Sayville (https://www.audreybakes.com/), Flowerfield Celebrations in St. James (https://www.flowerfield.com/) and Tribeca Rooftop (https://www.tribecarooftopnyc.com/) and Tribeca 360 in NYC. The company also owns and operates 21 Main Prime Steakhouse, 21 Main Events, Cinzia Spa, North Beach Pizza Company and Poolside Bar and Grill in North Myrle Beach, South Carolina.
Gerard’s roots remain on Long Island and within the surrounding community. A longtime resident of Sayville, Gerard and the company are benefactors of many local charities, such as the Patchogue YMCA
(https://ymcali.org/locations/patchogue-family-ymca) and the local Rotary. Furthermore, https://lovinoven.com maintains its corporate office in Bohemia and plans on being a staple and contributor to the local community for many years to come.
Robert Sudano was also born and raised on Long Island in Bohemia. In fact, Gerard and Robert were altar boys together at St. John Nepomucene RC Church in Bohemia over fifty years ago and have been friends ever since. Robert Sudano founded, owned and operated SouthBay Seafood in Bohemia for over forty years, before moving the business to make way for the storage building. Robert still has many family members living in Bohemia and is a fixture in the community.
